• Personal data provided by members. You provide us personal information when you become a member of Kent Velo Girls Cycling Club. This may include:

  • Your mobile number
  • Your date of birth
  • Your gender
  • Your membership number of British Cycling, Cycling UK or British Triathlon Federation
  • Whether you are a member of another cycling club, and if so, name thereof
  • Relationship to you, full name and mobile number of the person to be contacted In Case of Emergency (ICE)
• Use of the personal data provided by members
  • To circulate newsletters to keep members up to date with club activities and forthcoming events
  • From time to time to issue surveys to gain feedback from members
  • To issue membership renewal notices
  • To allow members to be contacted as part of the administration of the club
  • To facilitate organisation of club rides, events and fulfilment of orders
  • To facilitate contact with the nominated individual in case of emergency
• Sharing of the personal data provided by members
  • Members details are stored on the Kent Velo Girls Cycling Club website and/or on Membermojo, the
    club’s membership services software
  • Access by the club to stored members details is restricted to the Chairman, Treasurer and Membership
    Secretary
  • Data is not shared with third parties for marketing
    purposes
• Security of the personal data provided by members
  • The services of an external website provider/technical advisor are retained to implement the appropriate
    technical measures to protect the website and the personal data of members held on the club website
    against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, damage, alteration or disclosure
  • Membermojo is GDPR compliant and also implement the appropriate technical measures to protect the
    personal data of members held by Membermojo against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, damage, alteration or disclosure
• Retention periods of the personal data provided by members
  • Member’s personal details are retained for a period of one year beyond their period of membership and then
    deleted
