Meet The Team
The Committee
KVG is run by a Committee of 7 elected members who all work as volunteers to manage the club on a day to day basis. Most positions are held for 3 years. The Committee meets monthly and welcomes member feedback at all times.

Jane
Chair of the Committee is Jane who joined KVG in 2011 after signing up for the Hever Castle triathlon. She leads the Wed Intermediate-Advanced ride and loves cycling in Yorkshire and Scotland as well as Kent.

Hatty
Vice-Chair Hatty joined KVG 2011 to improve her health and fitness and has since completed many challenges which would have been unthinkable before joining the club. Hatty was our Membership Secretary for a number of years and organises the Saturday Easy & Easy-Intermediate rotas.

Janet
Membership Secretary Janet is the first point of call for new and prospective members, leading our regular induction sessions. With no hockey during lockdown, Janet was inspired to start cycling but the only bike available was a 20 year old mountain bike! Purchasing a road bike from eBay opened a whole new world.

Caroline
Social and Events Secretary Caroline organises our many social and special events ranging from First Aid evenings to the One Day Tour to the Christmas meal. Caroline joined the club in 2019, completed her first 100 ride in 2020 and a went on to do a 200 miler in 2021.

Candy
Treasurer Candy joined KVG in 2015 and many club rides later, finds herself fitter and loving the company of like-minded women. Many happy memories have been gathered along the way, including cycling across the Pyrenees in 2018 with a group of KVG friends.

Sue
Club Secretary Sue O joined the KVG in 2014 after first enjoying some Breeze rides and cycling has now completely changed her life. She joins and organises many club challenges. The latest adventure is managing the KVGpink Zwift racing team. She also leads the Sunday mixed rides.

Suzie
Social Media and Communications Secretary Suzie joined in 2018 after accidentally cycling from London to Paris on the back on a tandem. Bitten by the cycling bug, she joined KVG and has never looked back. Suzie loves to experience all types of cycling, from track races to bike packing adventures
Our Coaches
At KVG and KVB we have a number of members who have completed British Cycling coaching qualifications in order to support the Club and its members.
Bee Gregorie
President & Head Coach
British Cycling Level 3 (Road & TT)
Bee started coaching back in 2008, when it became clear that the newly formed KVG would need some skills and guidance in order to progress and develop as cyclists.
Now Bee works mainly with groups and individuals preparing for challenges, working on skills and specific fitness.
She feels great pride when she drives past groups of KVG all riding neatly in an egg box!

KVG Limericks…
There was a lady cyclist from Kent
‘I’m too slow’ was her only lament
She trained on her turbo
And found her speed mojo
In her pace she is now confident
There was a lady cyclist from Kent
Who loved the roads that were bent
Straight road were a bore
And the hills were a chore
But watch out for her on the descents!
