Kent Velo Boys is the men’s section of the Kent Velo Girls road cycling club aimed at social group riding. We our very proud to have been born from the KVG and continue to grow and support the ethos of Women’s cycling. Our members range from those returning to two wheels for fitness and camaraderie, to experienced riders training for some of the toughest cycling events. We meet weekly on Saturdays at 9.00am, when we ride in groups, organised by speed from our base in Hilden borough.
The Kent Velo Boys are a supportive and friendly cycling club that welcomes and encourages new members and provides a safe group riding experience where “no one is dropped.” At the same time, we’re looking to improve our skills and the scope of our riding through our club events, such as our annual training camp in Mallorca, cycling experiences such as our annual ride in France, and (this year) a trip to the London Velodrome. Naturally, we also take part together with the Kent Velo Girls in sportives around the UK and Europe.
When the riding is done, we like nothing better than to share our experiences and thoughts about bikes, training, races, kit and just about anything else over a coffee or the occasional curry. We enjoy a close association with our founder Kent Velo Girls, with whom we organise joint rides, training and events.
Please feel free to book an induction ride if you are interested in joining our club.
