The Monday Easy ride is a great starting point for riding with the club. Most riders will be on road bikes, but hybrid bikes are also allowed. The ride typically lasts for an hour and a half, with 1200ft of climbing, including a moderate hill, at a speed of 12mph. The ride goes at the pace of the slowest rider and we always regroup at the top of hills and after big descents. The focus of this ride is on practising individual riding skills, group riding skills and improving fitness. We aim to build riders’ confidence so that they can progress on to the other club rides.
